With a proven track record of serving prominent Tennessee companies like Dollar General and a portfolio of legacy accounts in Robertson and Davidson Counties, the city of Clarksville was the natural next step in Above Standard Building Maintenance’s growth strategy. That expansion accelerated in the early summer of 2025 with the addition of Justin Swallows as Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

Now, that vision has taken another leap forward as Above Standard Building Maintenance (ASBM) has officially been named an approved vendor for Millan Enterprises — one of Middle Tennessee’s most respected property management firms, with a diverse portfolio spanning multiple states and encompassing both commercial and residential properties.

“We truly appreciate all of the hard work, time, and thought they’ve put into building this partnership with us,” said McKenzie Solis, Assistant Director of Commercial Property for Millan Enterprises. “Above Standard's willingness to adjust proposals, work through logistics, and get in full compliance with our vendor requirements has not gone unnoticed.”

For ASBM, the partnership is the result of a deliberate, relationship-driven approach. Under the leadership of CEO John Bryant and COO Makayla Bryant, the team has worked over the past several months to become an integrated part of the Millan Enterprises network, hosting multiple strategy sessions with their executive leadership and aligning on shared goals.

“As soon as we began conversations with Millan Enterprises, it was clear this was more than a vendor relationship — it was a true partnership in the making,” said Justin Swallows, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at ASBM. “Their professionalism, vision, and commitment to the communities they serve have made this a truly enjoyable process. We’ve been impressed not only by their operations but also by their heart for making a difference, and we’re honored to be part of that mission.”

The collaboration is already visible in the community. ASBM has established office hours at The Press, Millan Enterprises’ state-of-the-art co-working space in downtown Clarksville, creating a hub for stronger communication and collaboration. The Above Standard team also recently joined the Millan Foundation to volunteer at YAIPAK’s inaugural Back to School Bash, distributing school and household supplies to local families in need. Future discussions even include the possibility of ASBM staff participating in a Millan Foundation mission trip — expanding the local impact into an international effort.

For both organizations, the synergy is evident. As ASBM begins tackling cleaning and maintenance projects across the Millan portfolio, they also look forward to deepening their shared commitment to community service.

“This is just the beginning,” added Swallows. “When you combine operational excellence with a shared passion for people, the possibilities are endless. That’s exactly what we’ve found with Millan Enterprises.”
