Above Standard Building Maintenance Strengthens Partnership with Power & Grace Preparatory Academy Through Board Appointment
Clarksville, TN — August 2025 — Above Standard Building Maintenance (ASBM) is proud to announce that Chief Operating Officer Makayla Bryant has been appointed to the Board of Trustees at Power & Grace Preparatory Academy (PGPA). This milestone underscores ASBM’s commitment to building immersive, purpose-driven partnerships in Clarksville and beyond.
This summer marked a season of remarkable growth for PGPA. With the support of Fort Campbell, the school welcomed a state-of-the-art 8,500-square-foot instructional building, establishing a new hub on their Peterson Lane campus. Alongside this expansion, PGPA also entered into a campus-wide facilities partnership with Above Standard Building Maintenance. As the official cleaning and maintenance partner, ASBM has integrated seamlessly into daily campus life, helping create an environment where students and educators can thrive.
Now, the partnership has deepened even further with Bryant’s board appointment. Known for her passion for education and her heart for children, Bryant brings a unique blend of academic expertise and community engagement to the role. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Educational Law from Belmont University before completing her MBA at Louisiana State University. Her professional background includes five years working with Robertson County’s Special Education Department, and she continues to volunteer and advocate with Special Olympics of Tennessee.
“When Head of School Katobwa Stallworth extended the invitation to join the board, I immediately felt called to serve,” said Bryant. “Power & Grace isn’t just preparing students academically — they’re shaping lives through Christian values, character, and purpose. At Above Standard, we’ve built our company on relational, immersive partnerships, and this opportunity allows me to extend that commitment in a very personal and meaningful way.”
Bryant will attend her first PGPA Board of Trustees meeting this fall, where she looks forward to supporting the academy’s mission of helping students grow intellectually through Christian attributes.
“Makayla embodies the very best of what it means to lead with both excellence and heart,” said Katobwa Stallworth, Head of School at PGPA. “Her expertise and her passion for children will be an incredible asset to our board as we continue to expand and serve families in Clarksville.”
The appointment highlights Above Standard’s ongoing belief that true partnership goes beyond contracts — it’s about becoming an extension of the communities served. For PGPA, this means not only having a trusted facilities partner but also gaining a committed advocate for their mission at the highest level of leadership.
